Principal Designer and Project Manager

A licensed architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Jimmy’s experience ranges from large scale master plans and public school modernizations to finely crafted residential additions and interiors. Jimmy received his undergraduate education at the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. An active member of the Alexandria community, he enjoys coaching youth athletics and serves on the Advisory Board for Woodlawn and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pope-Leighey House, a National Trust for Historic Preservation Site.


Jimmy leads our in-house design for Braswell Design+Build, a division started to provide our clients with continuity and cost savings on their renovations and additions. We have the skills under one roof – innovation design, budget management and construction expertise – to provide you with creative design solutions and quality craftsmanship, all within your budget.
